REPEATS AT COLUMBUS TRACK Beaver Lake Holds Winning Form to Take Beulah Park Headliner — Favorable Conditions. COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 18.— Beaver Lake carried the colors of Major and Luginbuel for his second victory of the meeting at Beulah Park when he scored a handy victory in the Miller Oil Company Purse, sixth and featured event, this afternoon. Beaver Lake enjoyed a comfortable lead all through the stretch and Rafter came from behind to beat the others. The tiring Sky Cloud just lasted to beat Ina Dear for the minor award. At the conclusion of the race B. W. Miller made the presentation of a handsome trophy to Earl Major, trainer and co-owner of Beaver Lake. Favorable conditions once more prevailed and a crowd of average proportions for an off day witnessed the sport. Time and Again, Darby Duke and Nautch led throughout in their respective races, the last-named scoring with ease and returning the longest mutuel pay-off of the afternoon. Jack Greenock and Lady All were called upon for their best to dispose of the opposition in their respective races.
