Won easily; second and third driving. ROMAN BOY was taken under steadying restraint after breaking fast, was kept in on the turns while BEAMING LADY raced alongside, responded when mildly urged in the last eighth and drew out as if much the best. BEAMING LADY forced a steady pace and held on well, although no serious threat. ROVING EYE was close up for the first half mile and saved ground, but could not engage the first two ENTHUSIASM was pinched back in the first sixteenth. VICTORY LIGHT could not threaten. NATIONAL opened up a clear lead on the back stretch, but tired suddenly in the stretch drive. WORTHOWNING was a forward factor all the way and continued gamely to the end. REIGH TETRARCH lost the lead early and rally. SEA BOY could not enter contention. LOCOMOTIVE raced poorly and can do better. t awctad JANSTAR was outrun. HELEN BAB showed nothing.
