1 CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES I « — — ■ S. G. Baker, Sr., reported the sale of the recent winner, Broadus, to Mrs. Edward Haughton for a private consideration. Danny Stewart returned the filly Isolene from the stable of Friedberg and Axton, and she will be included in the string of horses Ramsey ships to Lincoln Fields on Monday. Warren Douglas, able horseman who had a number of the Vera S. Gragg horses during the winter and prepared them for racing this spring, also the horses of Miss Henrietta Bingham, is equipped to conduct a public stable and will consider taking over horses for racing this summer. William O. Hicks, who trains the Emdale Stable horses, announced that the entire string would be shipped to Lincoln Fields and he hopes to get away Sunday.
