GENTLEMANS CUP RACE TODAY Six Horses Named for Added Feature at Churchill Downs — Amateur Riders to Compete. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 18.— As an added attraction Churchill Downs will stage a gentlemens cup race here tomorrow and it is to be contested at six furlongs among six horses and their amateur riders. The event will be staged as the seventh race on the card which will include eight other regularly scheduled contests. The gentlemens race annually arouses much interest in Louisville and its inclusion in tomorrows program should help swell the attendance for Churchill Downs semi-final program. Among the amateur riders in tomorrows race who have won similar events in the past are Baylor O. Hickman, Byron Hilliard and Rieder Schell. Hickman will ride his own Stjensund, Hilliard will have the mount on Be Shy and Schell will handle Seven Star. The other riders are Earl E. Major, who will have Teddy Boy for a mount, G. S. Howell, rider of Sis Blaze, and George Peters, who will have the leg on Paul T.
