1 SUFFOLK DOWNS NOTES f $ $ Geo. Alexandra, trainer for the Medway Stables, stated that Ghost Queen and William Palmer, which had been sent to Canada, will return to Suffolk Downs this week. Jockey Buddy Ensor checked in. He wilL ride free lance for the present. H. W. Jacksons string, headed by Ariel Toy, includes The Serf, Special Racket, Proph, Sunnyshore, Ariel Cape and Sea Miss. A. Pupino has registered Rocky Margot and The Triumvir. Jockeys Vincent Polk, Alfred Shelhamer and Charley Friedman, packed their tack and left for the Delaware meeting. Jockey Johnny Barba checked in to the riding colony and will acept his first mounts on Monday. He will ride for the E. W. Duffy stable. Trainer George R. Miller brought in eleven head from Jamaica to run in the interest of E. W. Duffy. They are Sir Jim James, Grey Gold, Steel Knight, Chief Onaway, Knights Sox, Que Gato, Ballinderry, Blue Tints, Hope Call, Prince Waygo and Dollarville. Ed Schaefer stabled a quartet at the track under trainer Morris, including Evening Shadow, among, the others. Trainer Anderson registered a two-year-old bay gelding, Brave On, for his wife, Mrs. B. Anderson. By the order of the stewards jockey J. Ashcroft is suspended for fifteen days, from May 27 to June 13, inclusive, for foul riding in the fifth race Saturday. For fouUng Infidox during the stretch run of the fifth race Saturday, Shes Right was disqualified and fourth money was awarded to Somali.
