1 DELAWARE PARK NOTES s Jockey Manny Berg, who rode with much success at Pimlico, arrived from Baltimore and turned over his engagement book to Tommy Kelly. Eight members of the Starmount Stable, in charge of trainer J. Milburn, were placed under shelter here. The jockeys headquarters here is In charge of Jesse Bennett, who held a similar position at Bowie. Watt Elliott brought eleven horses from Pimlico that will be raced here throughout the meeting. Jockey George Seabo, who rode at Suffolk Downs since the close of the Pimlico meeting, reported to L. J. Schaefer, trainer of the W. L. Brann stable. The A. C. C. stable that campaigned successfully at Suffolk Downs, Pimlico, Havre de Grace and Bowie was returned here by trainer H. G. Bedwell. Jockey Leslie Pichon, who rode with good success in Kentucky, joined the local riding colony. Ten horses of the Bomar Stable were transferred here from Pimlico by trainer R. E. Potts. P. D. Lee Watts brought a dozen head from Belmont Park that will be campaigned here during the thirty-day meeting. Jockey J. »Adams is expected from New York to join the W. E. Boeing stable in charge of T. Horning. Jockey Charles Stevenson will do the riding for the Millsdale Stable and Mrs. A. Pelleteri. Starter George Palmer, who has been on the grounds here supervising schooling classes for the past week, will have for his assistants Harold Morrison, Albert Taney, Mike Erb, Jerry Taylor and Harry Taylor. Mose Lowenstein registered thirteen horses with the Delaware Steeplechase and Race Association. The Tall Tree Stable, in charge of trainer Lee ODonnell, arrived from Kentucky to augment the horse colony. Jockey Glenn Smith will do the riding for the P. D. Lee Watts stable, which arrived here from Belmont Park. Jockey E. DeCamillis checked in from Belmont Park and will ride as a free lance during the meeting here. Karl D. Kolseth reported at Delaware Park with the platers Setemup, Red Glare and Praetor.
