CANIMAR, sluggish in the early running, was placed to severe punishment in the last half nfile, came between horses to better his position, then finished resolutely to get up in the last fifty yards. BIG BUD raced into a clear lead early, was steadied until challenged, then held on strongly. BAV was well up all during the early running and held on well. HUPPY raced forwardly and had no excuses.
