V 1 AK-SAR-BEN TURF NOTES $ s Snobeedo, veteran son of Snob H. — Saieeda, changed owners since his arrival at Ak-Sar-Ben, when Joseph Osteroff acquired the animal and turned him over to Buddy Berry, who will direct his training for future engagements. The stable of Eddens and Zeigler, among those which trekked across the continent to participate in the Omaha racing, was given quarters and trainer W. E. Zeigler filed application for the following horses: Business Man, Company, Jockwell and Sky Bingo. C. D. Wynn, who trains the horses of E. C. Sisson, brought in the older Miss Contrary, Courtly Lady and the two-year-olds Lady Ellis and Mr. Flag. The consignment came from Phoenix. Trainer Bruce Broadfoot got away from Bay Meadows sooner than expected. He loaded his string of seven and departed from San Mateo Friday noon. Included among those which were due to arrive here Sunday were: Deer Fly, Uncle Less, Shasta Buddy, Taos Girl, Propagandist, Serbian and probably one other.
