1 DETROIT TURF NOTES | Ona Boy and Surprise Box, the property of Mrs. M. E. Martin, were unloaded Monday and placed in quarters along with Little Drift, the start of the Martin Stable. Ona Boy and Surprise Box were shipped here from Fairmount Park. Mrs. L. Hartrick, local patron, who has three horses here in charge of George Neal, will probably see her colors in action for the first time this year when Florid and Sleep Along are scheduled for engagements the latter part of the week. The horses were fired and turned out last fall and have not been in competition since that time. Busy Spain, the third member of the stable, is not up to racing yet but Neal hopes to have the veteran under silks in two weeks. Jockey Herman Schutte accepted his first mount of the meeting when he rode Imperial High in the first race Monday.
