ASTRAL, sluggish as usual in the early running, was handled smartly while working way between horses, wore down the leaders and drew clear under pressure. GHAZALA raced ROYAL FOOT into defeat and was best of the others. WRIGHTSTOWN, always prominent, held on gamely. ROYAL FOOT, attained command along the backstretch, held on well to the furlong pole and stopped. OMAHA JR. raced evenly. FORGOTTEN ALLY was never a factor. MAID 0 MINT stopped ™ to a walk. .
