Greentree Mares Have Foaled LEXINGTON, Ky., May 18. — The 1949 foaling season at Greentree Farm ended recently with the arrival of a War Admiral colt out of Gentle Tryst, dam of Up the Hill. The final count at the nursery was t 10 colts and 14 fillies. Capot, the Preakness winner, has a half-brother by Bimelech in the new crop, and Blue Border has a half-sister by Devil Diver. Piquet, the dam of Capot, was bred back to his sire earlier this spring.
