Trials for Valley Forge GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 18. — Two eligibles for Saturdays renewal of the 5,000 added Valley Forge Handicap, a test at one mile, were on the racing strip at Garden State Park this morning. Progress Stables Hash Night, a consistent winner in Florida during the winter, went six furlongs in 1:13%, going handily all the way. The son of Hash and Night Lady sped over the half in :47%. The other Valley Forge aspirant to put in an early morning trial was Glen Riddle Farms Faraway, who ran the fastest six furlongs of the meeting two weeks ago in accounting for an overnight event. Faraway went six furlongs this morning in 1:15%, after getting the half in :50.
