Ten Homebreds in Lab rot String at Detroit Track FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., May 18. — Sylvester W. Labrot, Jr., master of Hacketts Point Farm, Annapolis, Md., is to be represented at the local course this season by 10 homebreds that arrived here in charge of trainer James Rowan. The Labrot establishment is headed by Repand, a five-year-old son of Johnstown and Trina, who last year achieved a game triumph in the Rowe Memorial Handicap at Bowie. Others in the Maryland-owned unit are Taran, a starter in the recently decided Preakness Stakes; Dutel, Sal van, Arcave, Ratine, Ensa, Salaza, Strade and Ribard. The entire Labrot stable arrived at the Fair Grounds in good condition and it is expected to play a prominent role here during the balance of the Michigan Racing Associations 80-day season.
