DRY BELT, reserved for a half, went up between horses in the drive and wore down DOTS RISK. The latter, allowed to settle into stride early, moved up on the outside, disposed of OFFENBACH and took a clear lead between calls in the closing furlong and just missed. The latter gained the lead when RAY OSULLIVAN weakened and tired in the final furlong. FRIENDLY DON finished well after a slow beginning. STEEL CHAIN, raced wide all the way.
