CURLER went into the lead, came to the inside before reaching the first turn, drew away quickly and won under mild punishment in the closing furlong APPETIZER was forwardly placed from the break, could not menace the winner, but lasted for the place. KNIGHT CAPPY was a contender on the rail and weakened near the end. WELL WISHER was carried wide all the way around the first turn and could not rally.. WARY MARY was outrun. LEBER showed nothing.
