OFF AT 2:03 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate for all but ROZS RAINBOW. Won driving; second and third the same. JERSEY QUEEN raced in close attendance to the pace, moved through along on the inside while rallying and was kept to pressure while drawing close. ATTENTION MARK set the pace and held on gamely. TAR raced forwardly on the outside and was not aood enough. BURGOYNE broke alertly, raced with the pace to the stretch and faltered. SINGING SWORD failed to rally. WAR EAST was through early. RAW CORD, always forwardly placed, responded to pressure through the stretch and wore down PITFALL. The latter drew clear on the turn, but could not withstand the winners late rally. BILLS PAL had no mishap. HYPERTENSION held a slight lead along the backstretch and quit. ON THE WING was through early, as was AIR TIP. FLYING NUN was outrun. CALL SHOT lost his rider after apparently having run up on the heels of a horse leaving the five-eighths pole. NORA T., A SCHEDULED STARTER, UNSEATED HER RIDER IN THE GATE AND, AFTER RUNNING OFF ABOUT SIX FURLONGS, WAS ORDERED SCRATCHED. ALL WAGERS ON HER WERE REFUNDED AND A CONSOLATION DAILY DOUBLE OF 1.00 WAS PAID. SELLEP UNSEATED HER RIDER, RAN OFF SEVERAL MILES PRIOR TO THE START AND WAS ORDERED SCRATCHED WITH ALL WAGERS REFUNDED AND A CONSOLATION DOUBLE OF 6.40 WAS PAID. OFF AT 3:11J EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. APPROACH was unable to keep up early, was nicely handled and fortunate during his rally and just managed to outfinish BLUE-LABEL. The latter was well rated while setting the pace, turned back the challenges of TOREADOR and LUREMENOW, then held on tenaciously in the final stages. INDIAN JEWEL moved well under pressure, but lacked room in the late stretch. LUREMENOW weakened after being unable to wrest the lead nearing the stretch. OREMURF showed nothing. CABDRIVERS NOD tired. DAMSON shook off GARY LESLIE to attain a clear lead after a half mile, then continued to increase his advantage to win easily. GARY LESLIE was unable to stay with the top one and just managed to sav* the second over CYPER. The latter was always prominent, but lacked a rally. BUSY DREAM closed willingly, but failed to seriously threaten. PLANE SHADOW was slow to settle in stride. JERRYS BEST showed nothing. GRATEFUL was outrun. NEDLON quit. NORTHERN DEB assumed command in the opening strides, drew clear rapidly and had speed in reserve at the end. BETWEEN ACTS rallied along the inside, but could not menace the top one. PUNCHESTOWN rallied only mildly to outfinish GALLANT BULL. The latter loomed a threat when able to move through in the early stretch, then weakened. USELESS quit. PICTURE CARD, steadied when unable to keep pace with GREEY WARRIOR early, displaced that one inside the furlong pole and outfinished ANDY HANDY. The latter was always prominent and had no mishap. TIDE RIPS trailed for the first hlaf, was kept on the outside throughout and closed full of run. IKE JUNIOR raced evenly. RED HERRING threatened in the early stretch, but tired after being in close quarters briefly. LITTLE HARP came out of the race lame. DENAGEE raced with the pace until displaced by the winner, held on gamely and broke down right at the wire. MINEAPOLIS had speed in spots. FRESH BREEZE tired throughout the stretch.
