Garner to Ride-Curtice WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., May 19.-— Trainer Robert McGarvey announced here this morning that the veteran saddlesmith, Willie Garner, has been engaged to handle Mrs. Emil Denemarks Curtice in the Joliet Stakes, a two-year-old race for colts and geldings and feature on the coming week-end card. Garner completed a 90-day suspension today.
