Tom Westrope departed from here today for Omaha, Neb., with Gay Coo, Gay Ballet, Wilful Maid and Royal Pigeon and the quartet is slated for racing at Ak-Sar-Ben, which opens May 24.. Jockey Donald MacAndrew left here today for Detroit, Mich., and plans to ride at the Fair Grounds, where an 80-day session began Saturday. The partners, E. Clanton and J. Byrd, sold Ernie C. and Wayne S. at private terms today to M. Moscovitz. The pair will leave here today with the shipment Tom Westrope is taking to Ak-Sar-Een. Acting for the Eldorado Farm, trainer H. E. Beatty sold In Earnest and In The Bag in a private transaction to H. Fahn-holz, who does his own conditioning. A pair of two-year-olds, Mon Baizer and Mae Manners, owned by the Parlay Stable, arrived her today after being sfiipped from Golden Gate Fields in California. Trainer E. Campbell reported the youngsters made the long journey in good shape. Racing secretary Larry Bogenschutz reported that Sam E. Wilson, "Jr., has can- celed his stall reservation for this meeting and plans to ship instead to Delaware Park. The Wilson horses are now quartered at Churchill Downs in charge of Warren G. Douglass. Five of a total of. 12 horses trainer Phil Reuter will condition for various patrons at this meeting arrived yesterday from Churchill Downs. The, advance unit was comprised of Mother Morris, Sgt.
