Palatine Stables Recent Purchases Are Doing Well GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., When Some Town won here yesterday it was his fifth triumph of the season and the efforts stamp him as well purchased by the Palatine Stable from T. C. Melrose. Some Town was one of three thoroughbreds purchased last winter for a price reported to be 3,000. The other two were Hash Night and Scipio. The latter was claimed from Palatine Stable in his first start for 315,000. Hash Night, possibly the most capable of the trio, but apparently not too sound, won at first asking and has been unsuccessful in three succeeding starts. Up to the present, Frank Rosen, owner of Palatine Stable, has had a return of approximately 0,000 on his investment. He appears to have fared much better with the purchase of the juvenile, Quiz Show, from Ray Bryson during the winter. Quiz Show has started but twice since arriving from Florida and has two victories to his credit, the most recent in the Eastern Shore Stakes. .
