Reveille in Seven-Eighths Move for Withers Stakes Clocked In 1 :272/s at Belmont; Mr. Busher Unextended in Moye BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., r May 19. — Reveille, the three-year-old son 1 of Eight Thirty and Tatanne, was called upon for a seven-furlong test over the main track this morning. The move was that colts final prep for his week-end engagement in the Withers. Reveille was timed the distance in 1:27% in handy fashion. He was unaccompanied in the trial and moved along at a slow but steady pace throughout. Following the work, trainer Bert Mul-holland stated that it was more than likely that the colt would start on Saturday and if he does he will be ridden br Ovie Scur-lock. Reveille is looked upon as a slow beginner, but a fast finisher through the late stages of his efforts. His sluggishness at the start has in the past cost him races, the most outstanding example being the Flamingo at Hialeah Park last winter. Reveille moved along through the first quarter of his test in :23% and covered the half mile in :48. The five furlongs were timed in 1:01% and the six furlongs were negotiated in 1:13%. He finished out his final furlong in resolute manner. Training operations were on the active side this morning at the Nassau County course, not only on the main track but on the training track. Among some of the outstanding campaigners noted on the main track were Coaltown, the Calumet Stables speed marvel. This fellow tossed in a slow half mile in :49% under double wraps. Coaltown has two major engagements listed at this meeting, the Suburban and Roseben. Trainer Jimmy Jones was noncommittal in outlining his future plans. The Suburban is over the mile and one-quarter distance while the Roseben is at I six furlongs. Nell K., owned by the Spring Hill Farm of James D. Norris and a Coaching Club American Oaks nominee, was called upon for an easy half mile. Greentree Stables Androcles, heralded as one of the [ better juvenile prospects, was given a half-mile test in :48M . Vulcans Forge, owned by I. J. Collins and a Suburban hopeful, , was called upon for a mile test. He was ; timed in 1:42. Mr. Busher is advancing steadily in his ; training and the Maine Chance three-year-old turned in an easy six furlongs in l 1:184/|5. Mrs, Elizabeth N. Graham was on l hand; to see him work. *
