Black Sambo to Be Fired WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., May 19. — Black Sambo, winner of the Lafayette Stakes this spring at Keeneland, then was third in the Bashford Manor Stakes at Churchill Downs on May 7, will be fired about the ankles and turned out for the summer, it was disclosed here today by trainer William Resseguet. Owned by Sam Rosen, the two-year-old son of Ariel — Bisonette, was recently vanned from Churchill Downs to Lexington, Ky.f where he will undergo the treatment and be turned out at E. K. Thomas farm.
