McCreary Grounded Ten Days AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 22.— " Jockey Conn McCreary was suspended 10 ■ days by the stewards today, after his s mount, Be Modest, was disqualified from 1 first place in yesterdays fifth race at Belmont " Park. The stewards ruling stated " that Be Modest "failed to maintain a straight course in the stretch and interfered ~ with Belle Amie." That filly finished fifth. McCrearys suspension is effective e tomorrow and continues through July 2.
