J., June 22. — Weights for the Long Branch Handicap will be released by racing secretary John Turner, Jr.. on Monday afternoon. The Long Branch, at a mile and a sixteenth, is another major prep for the July 28 renewal of the 5,000 Monmoutii Handicap, and has attracted many nominees for that rich stake. Among the 46 named are Belair Studs Hyphasis, Brandywine Stables Cochise, Brookmeade Stables Chains. War King and Why Not Now. Carolyn K Stables Whiffenpoof, H. W. Finchers Air Attack and Dooly, William Y. Goldsboroughs Binky B., S. Greenfelds High Trend. Mrs. Walter M. Jeffords Post Card, Mrs. Louis Lazares Sheilas Reward, Ogden Phipps Busanda, Rokeby Stables County Delight, Mrs. Andy Schuttingers Ferd, William Veenemans Black George and others.
