■ B I New York Notes AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 22. Of the six starters in the Tremont, three were purchased at the yearling sales — Pin-tor 0,500, Sirad ,000, and Count Flame ,500. Jet Master was placed on the block and was purchased by Sol Rut-chick for ,000 but was bought back the following day for an additional ,000 by his breeder, Joseph Eitinger, master of Marlboro Stud. Tahitian and Mixture are homebreds. For the first time since the stake was inaugurated in 1902, the Queens County Handicap will carry a trophy award for the winning owner. Cyrus S. Jullien, president of Aqueduct, will make the presentation in the winners circle immediately following the running of the race. Although the Queens County is considered a prep for the longer and richer B poklyn Handicap, only two horses have won both ends — Sam Hildreths Cirrus in 1920 and Rancocas Stables Mad Play in 1925.
