Deadline for Stars-Stripes, Skokie and Pollyanna Entries ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, HI., June 22.-c-Racing secretary Frank E. Kilroe today reminded horsemen of the closing tomorrow, Saturday, June 23, of three Arlington Park stakes, the Stars and Stripes Handicap, Skokie and Pollyanna. The 0,000 Stars and Stripes, richest turf course handicap in the world, is for three-year-olds and upward at a mile and furlong and will feature the July 4 holiday program. The 5,000 added Skokie, for three-year-olds and upward, at seven-eighths, is to be run Saturday, July 7 on which program the 5,000 added Pollyanna, for two-year-old fillies at five and one-half furlongs, also will be run.
