June 22. — A momentous golf match which may hold dire consequences for the tranquility and terrain of the Newark Del. Country Club has been arranged for Monday evening following the racing program at Delaware Park. A four-man team consisting of visiting turf writers will tackle a quartet representing the Stanton track. The press box All-Stars team comprises: Bill Boniface, Baltimore Sunpapers; Palmer Heagerty, Daily Racing Form; Gale "Gaby" Haugh, Baltimore News-Post, and Snowden Carter, Baltimore Sunpapers. The association aces: Al Fahey and Fred Hayden, publicity department: Lester Bernd, head of the film patrol, and Bryan Field, general manager and vice-president of Dlaware Park, the man who made the Pine Valley Country Club in New Jersey famous.
