Three Crack Filly Yearlings In Joe C. Metz Consignment LEXINGTON, Ky., June 22. — Three crack filly yearlings by three prominent sires and each the first foal of her dam. comprise the consignment to the Keene-land Summer Sales of Joe C. Metz of the Drymon-Metz Farm. The young dt. of these yearlings bring creditable pedigrees to support their offspring and the stallions need no introduction. One fine big filly is by Pavot, the young stallion whose prestige is being established by Cigar Maid and The Pimpernel. This miss is from the Menow mare Ringolette, who is a half-sister to Plumper and Volt. The Balladier mare Song Flight is the dam of a sturdy filly by Brookfield. Song Flight is a half-sister to the stakes winner Take Wing. Alsab is the sire of the third filly, who is from the Questionnaire mare, Wilt Thou. Wilt Thou is a sister to the good winner Aladear. Following the sales Metz will start breaking yearlings. He broke Errards Guide for Mrs. Ethel Gallagher Bandy. He has never sold a yearling that has not won, all but one of his youngsters entering the winners circle at two. The other won at three.
