TELECAST was hustled to reach the leaders from his extreme outside post position, disposed of MOUSEWAY with a rapid move in the early stretch and drew out while winning easily. CORONUS raced within striking distance, was bumped by VALBEE on the stretch turn, then finished well to gain her placing. BLUE JACK, far back while slow to reach stride, steadily made up distance after a quarter-mile, but lacked a rally for the drive. MOUSEWAY set the pace into the stretch and then faltered suddenly. BUSH BUCK was not a factor. DAILY NUISANCE tired. SEA MAGIC was outrun. VALBEE raced in spots, bore out entering the stretch and quit. BLACK AL shook free of early contention rounding the far turn, was vigorously urged for the stretch run and lasted to stave off GARDEN WALL. The latter gradually worked forwardly placed from between horses, came to the outside for the last stages and, closing with a rush, was quickly getting to the winner. WISE IDEA raced a bit wide while a sharp contender and finished well. JOANNYS JILL was well placed behind the first flight, but could not get up. TEDDYS PICNIC gradually weakened. ROW ROW ROW broke alertly on the inside, wrested command from WHATUDUIN and opened a clear lead for the stretch run, then lasted while being ridden out. ALLS FAIR raced within easly striking distance, finished determinedly under punishment, but could not reach the top one. CANDLE WOOD, never far back, bore out on the stretch turn, then finished well. RED AND YELLOW, unable to keep up early, dropped down to the inside and made a mild bid in the early stretch, but tired. GARAMONA saved ground. YAMA raced wide and tired. THASIAN HERO, in hand while behind horses early came to the outside to challenge in the stretch, then drifted to the inside while drawing out in the field in the last stages JUNGLE FEAST emerged from between horses to reach a clear lead on the final turn readily gave way to the winner, but held on fairly well. WEST MILTON drove up on the inside to be a sharp factor then gradually weakened in the drive. An objection lodged by the rider on WEST MILTON against JUNGLE FEAST was not allowed. IDLE MEMORY slipped through close quarters into contention on the final turn, then lacked a rally. CREW-CUT began slowly. GAMBLER bore out slightly into the strefch and faltered WINGY could not keep up while on the extreme outside. BULLOW pulled up lame. BLUE FEDORA quit suddenly after a half-mile. BLUE LANTERN was energetically urged in pursuit of STARECASE, disposed of that one after a half mile and then drew out steadily under pressure STARECASE was hustled into command at once, could not resist the winner, weakened, but lasted to best BOLO MACK. The latter was under pressure throughout and finished evenly. HAPPY VICTOR was outrun and his rider lost his inside iron in the final furlong. JOINER showed nothing. Scratched— 27665 Helen May, 104. FLUSHING SAM, forced back in the early backstretch, rapidly moved into contention from the outside on the final turn, then wore down the top ones under good handling and won going away. SHERRY moved up fast to challenge passing the half-mile, assumed command while still in hand, but then weakened when set down for the final run. IDLE PLATTER had speed in spots while prominently placed and held on fairly well in the drive. SEABRIGHT saved ground to take the early lead, held on well when displaced, but faltered near the end. LAST BRIGADE was forced wide early and tired. BOOTS HAVEN was outrun in a dull effort. TROJAN WAR tired. MINNEAPOLIS was strongly rated in close pursuit of the pace, easily wrested command when ready and then was energetically punished to stave off UP GRADE. The latter, outrun for a half mile, responded determinedly in the stretch run and, closing down the middle of the track, finished with a rush. SABOT held a clear lead setting the pace, but faltered when headed in the drive. FULLBLAST raced prominently placed in an even effort. LETS DANCE dropped back after a good start and trailed for a half mile, then closed with belated courage in the drive. MR. DEL faltered. BLACKMONT loomed boldly on the extreme outside entering the stretch, but suddenly faltered. VAR and CELLOPHANE quit. Overweight— Up Grade, 1 pound; Fullblast, 1; Lets Dance, 1.
