Threave Main Selling Two LEXINGTON, Ky., June 25. — Carter Thornton, of Threave Main Stud, will send two yearlings to the Saratoga Sales. A quick celt by Burg-El — Arab is from the Gallant Fox mare Rugged Cross and is the property of Dr. Arthur H. Davidson and Thornton. This is a robust colt who resembles his sire. A trim filly by the Doge — Evening Bells, by St. Germans, who is a full brother to Johns Joy and Carolina Queens, is sending his first crop to the sales ring this season. He had many stakes successes and is the property of Pentagon Stable. The sales filly is the property of W. W. Gabby and Thornton.
