Gee O Gee Scampers Home Well in Clear at Delaware DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 25. — Circle M Farms Gee O Gee, a speedy daughter of Blenheim II., who won her debut, then experienced considerable difficulty in the running of the recent Polly Drummond, gave further indication today that she is well worth the ,000 yearling price when she scampered to victory in the featured Delaire Purse. Bobanet Stables Baggage Boy was beaten four lengths while finishing second, two and one -half lengths clear of Palatine Stables Le Gaulois. The off-day program attracted only about 8,500 fans and Gee O Gee, at .10, was only the second winning choice on the program. Her victory was a convincing one under Nick Shuk, and her five and one-half furlongs time of 1:05% was satisfactory, being but one second off the track record held jointly by Pavot and Northern Star. Gee O Gee asserted herself at once, outbreaking the opposition and rapidly attaining a clear lead. She was allowed to ramble a bit on the turn and increased her advantage to six lengths after disposing of Happy Hill Farms rank outsider, Merry Mount.
