Hampton Changes Trainers DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 25. — Former jockey Eddie Smith has taken over the training of the Hampton Stable thoroughbreds, including the three-year-old Alerted, who was second to Hall of Fame in Saturdays Kent. If Alerted remains in Smiths care for the Leonard Richards, it will mark the fourth consecutive race in which he has been saddled by a new trainer.
