BIG ROAD, forwardly placed from the beginning while on the outside, drifted out through the stretch run, but, under clever handling, lasted to prevail over CONVERSATIONAL. The latter forged between horses on the far turn to obtain a contending position and held on tenaciously. FLETTER gave way nearing the furlong marker, then appeared to come again at the finish. LOOK HERE lacked a rally. ROADRUNNER hesitated at the start and lost all chance. SIR DAVID raced wide. VENT0LIN0 was overmatched. Overweight— Fletter, 1 pound. NINTH RACE 1 1-8 MILES turf course.
