DASH FOR CASH raced on near even terms with SIEGE to the stretch, responded to good handling during the drive and was up in the concluding strides to gain the victory. SIEGE held sway to the furlong marker under hustling tactics, was unable to withstand the winner when placed to pressure, but easily bested teh others. SIR ANHUT rallied too late to become an endangering factor. SAND FLY was unable to keep up. BALTIMORE JIM had no mishap. LUCKY CODINE and ANDYS GLORY were outrun. The others never threatened. GAY SCOT held sway to the stretch under steady rating and in a long drive gamely withstood WILL TRAVEL. The latter, a sharp factor from the beginning, swerved slightly nearing the three-sixteenths marker, recovered readily and closed with good energy. IMP IN ROMPERS failed to sufficiently respond when set down for the ultimate test. LOBLOLLY lacked early speed. INDIAN FILE was unable to keep up. OLD BAASKET failed to stay. ESSAYIST tired. TURF PIC ran up on horses heels entering the stretch and lost all chance. SWISS KNIGHT never was dangerous. Overweight— Imp in Rompers, 5 pcunds. SEMOLINA, slow to gain best stride, came between horses to attain a contending position when straightened for the drive, continued next to the rail and was up in the final strides to outgame EVANS MOUNTAIN. The latter disposed of BLEU FEATURE when ready, drifted out on the turn and through the stretch and was unable to hold the top one. UNREST raced evenly from the three-furlong marker to the stands without mishap. DIAMOND HEAD moved up menacingly entering the stretch, then weakened. BLEU FEATURE quit. HIYA-SAILOR was never prominent. ISOGRADE saved ground to no avail. MISS DEGREE was through early. Scratched— 85019 Imurguy, 108. Overweight— Unrest, 1 pound. BLACK MELODY, slow to start, responded to urging during the drive and closed with good energy. SNOOKSIE swerved and ducked to the inside several strides from the gate, remained on the rail during the remaining running, but was unable to overtake the top ones. WHITE DRIFT raced forwardly placed to the furlong marker and tired. WINTERFUR failed to stay. PINK CLOUD was outrun, as was TURF SUN. DARLIN WIFE never threatened.
