Set Deadline for Stall Applications at Hazel Park HAZEL PARK, Mich., May 16.— Richard A. Connell, president of the Hazel Park Racing Association, today announced that all stall applications for the 1953 Hazel Park meeting, which opens on August 6, must be in by June 2. Racing secretary-handicapper Horace Wade will arrive at the local oval on the latter date and turfmen will be notified immediately as to the disposition of their stall requests.
