Donica Beaten at Saint Cloud PARIS, France, May 16 Reuters. — Comte de Chambures Donica, favorite for the Epsom Oaks, was beaten into second place in the Prix Cleopatre over 10 furlongs at Saint Cloud today. The winner was J. Decrions Banassa who is not entered for the English classic. Donica, ridden by Rae Johnstone, was beaten two lengths, but observers thought she ran well considering it was her first public outing in seven months. Her owner said after the race that she remains an Oaks candidate. Francois Dupres Farahia was third among the field of nine.
