Ak-Sar-Ben Officials Arrive AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., May 16. — With opening day for Ak-Sar-Ben s thirty-third meeting a matter of hours away, recent arrivals from other racing points have almost completed the roster of officials now on the grounds of the Omaha course. From New Orleans and a winter sojourn came R. A. "Dick" Leigh, presiding steward at the forthcoming session; from Arizona Downs, Phoenix, Ariz., Noel Chilcutt, who will be starter again this year; from Bay Meadows, Charles Mullaney, paddock and patrol judge; from Keeneland, Linus Pierce, to be racing secretary, from his home in La Junta, Colo., Hank Mills, to be patrol judge, and from his home in Pasadena, Calif., i Alex Heffernan, to work with Leigh as a steward.
