Pirates Release Pitcher PITTSBURGH, Pa., May 26 UP.— The Pittsburgh Pirates released right-hander Bill MacDonald outright to Hollywood of the Pacafic Coast league today. The 170-pound Alameda, Cal., native pitched four relief games this year. Previously, he had been in the service.
