i * r , - t 1 i i Fernandez Leaves Hospital BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 26. — Julio C. Fernandez, Cuban veteran who was close up in the hot battle for leading rider at Beulah Park when thrown from Wrong Bid in the second race on Monday, was released from Mt. Carmel Hospital in Columbus following an extensive examina- tion. Fernandez had no broken bones, but was severely shaken up and painfully bruised the ligaments of his right thigh. He will probably take a few days of rest before reporting to River Downs where he will ride the entire meeting.
