NEVERLATOR was saved on the outside in the early running and, coming steadily in the middle of the track through the stretch, forged to the front entering the last sixteenth to win easily. SHANE was always a good contender and went well to the end. PRINCESS ANN set the pace and increased her advantage nearing the stretch turn, but tired in the run home. BLACK STREAM went evenly. CAN LOCATE tired. LOCK OUT was never a serious factor. Lock Out claimed by Mrs. H. L. Nathenson. Neverlator claimed by E. Madison. EIGHTH RACE 6 1-2 FURLONGS out of chute. SILVER K was closest to UNCLE JOHN while the latter was making the pace and, moving to take command after entering the last furlong, easily drew away in the final furlong. TONYS TROUBLE, never too far away, improved his position in the stretch to finish well. UNCLE JOHN weakened in the last eighth. LOVELY DEVIL was never a serious contender. The others were outpaced. Overweight— Lovely Devil, 3 pounds; Fuse Box, 1J. Ugly Chile claimed by Valley View Farm. Attendance, 12,774; Total Mutuel Pool, 32,643.
