Van Berg, Cook at Motor City DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., May 26. — Jockey Lois Cook, one of the better riders at all Michigan meetings, came in from Chicago and reported to Marion H. VanBerg, Columbus, Nebraska, turfman and a regular at all local sessions. VanBerg registered 23 horses for campaign-ing here and some of the better racers in the string are Miss Bobbin, Nobility, little Xs and Black Billings.
