[ • ; * " " I * — ♦ UNITED PRESS 1 NEWS : BRIEFS Full Truce Meeting Today PANMUNJOM, Korea, June 16.— The full United Nations and Communist truce dele- gations will meet tomorrow after a 17-day recess, the UN command announced tonight. The UN command asked for the meeting, the announcement said. No de- tails were given except that it will be an executive meeting. See New Bridges Action WASHINGTON, D. C, June 16. — Justice Department sources predicted today the government will make a new attempt to strip Harry Bridges of his U. S. citizenship and deport him. The department said of- ficially it is "studying alT aspects of the case" in the wake of a Supreme Court decision reversing Bridges 1950 perjury con- viction and restoring U. S. citizenship to the Australian-born boss of West Coast longshoremen. Berliners Riot Against Reds BERLIN, Germany, June 16.— Thousands of east German construction workers walked off their jobs today on Communist projects and swarmed through the streets shouting anti-communist slogans. It was the first such demonstration since the creation of the east German Red regime. Communist police made no move to interfere with the columns of angry workers. NMU- Postpones Strike NEW YORK, N. Y., June 16.— The Na- tional Maritime Union CIO postponed a threatened strike for 24 hours today pend- -ing further negotiations with Atlantic and Gulf Coast ship owners. Marie Asks Advance Support PARIS, France, June 16.— Premier-designate Andre Marie today sought advance assurances of support from leaders of seven French political parties before attempting to form a government to end the 27-day- old French political crisis. Marie set forth his "minimum" program and called for ad-. vance pledges of support at a 45 -minute meeting with leaders of the parties. Grain Prices Recover Grain prices rose yesterday after one of the sharpest declines in many months. C, June 16.— Com-t munist Poland today made public an offer to give asylum to convicted atom spies 3 Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, but this gov-1 ernment promptly branded it as an "impertinence." "We consider it as an impertinence and will not" reply to it State Department press officer Lincoln White said of the Polish offer. The Warsaw government yesterday handed U. S. Ambassador Joseph Flack a note offering the Rosenbergs political asylum if the United States would free them.
