Invigorator Throws Stifle DELAWARE, PARK, Stanton, Del., June 16. — Saxon Stables Invigorator, who was beaten a neck by Scimitar in last Saturdays Kent Stakes in the role of favorite, threw a stifle in that race, it was learned today. Trainer Norman R. McLeod, who was to have vanned Invigorator back to Belmont Park on Sunday, left the colt here with Buddy Raines. The latter said today: "The stifle is back in place and Invigorator has recuperated sufficiently to be vanned to Belmont tomorrow. He should be able to train again in three weeks or so."
