IFIDO broke alertly, raced in close attendance of the pace, came through along the inside on the turns, responded to stout urging and was along to outfinish MARK U., but came out of the race slightly lame. MARK U. assumed command at once, drew clear and dominated the running most of the trip. ZACA PRIZE forced the pace, moving to engage for the lead in the late stages and faltered CINDY MORAN, sluggish early, closed ground in the late stages. SAVE ME passed tiring horses on .the outside. HAY CRUNCH went evenly. GOLDEN GREEK was in close quarters rounding the far turn. HAL-FLEAM weakened. The others were outrun. SATIRE was hustled to gain a forward position at the start, overtook the leader entering the stretch, drew clear and had to be hard ridden to hold off the bid of KATHY T. The latter rushed boldly on the final turn,, came outside for the drive and was catching the winner. BLUE DANDY, close up throughout, lacked a late rally. LIVELY JEEP broke alertly, was unable to keep up, improved position down the backstretch and was unable to threaten under late pressure. BUTSYS FIRST improved4his position gradually, secured room along the inside in the stretch and drew clear near the end. OUR JO, sluggish in the early stages, circled the field on the outside and closed stoutly in the final sixteenth. TIO SANDY weakened after gaining, brief lead inside the final furlong. MELODY ANN, close up on the outside, faltered. CAROLLING broke sluggishly, was rushed along the jnside to take the early lead, drew clear, dominated the pace to the stretch and weakened while drifting out. UNKIE B. loomed as a threat along the inside and weakened. SHORE LIGHTS closed well along the inside. GALNOR was in close quarters early. LAST HOPE was unable to keep up. AIR VIEW had no mishap. ANNE BONNY faltered after setting most of the pace. STRATHEDEN bullied her way along the inside through the stretch, but was unable to reach the leaders. TIN TWIST forced the pace, came inside to vie for the lead, was hard ridden in theiate stages but faltered. BARNEYS JOY saved ground throughout, drove into a blind switch near the sixteenth pole and was eliminated. LADY CHEER weakened after six furlongs. A claim of four again the winner by the rider of MR. The latter came through along the inside to vie for the lead in the stretch and continued on gamely. HASTY HEART closed with good energy from off the pace. DANCE BAND appeared to sulk when put to pressure. OUR - JAN drew into a long lead after a half-mile, shortened stride into the stretch and weakened. STARK TWINS was best of the others.
