Pilot Thinks Moore-Maxim Winner Should Meet Layne SALT LAKE CITY, TJtah, June 16 UP — Rex Layne today entered the picture in the light-heavyweight title fight between champion Archie Moore and contender Joey Maxim, scheduled June 24 at Ogden. Laynes manager, Marv Jenson, said he was unhappy over the fact the International Boxing Club suggested a match between the Moore-Maxim winner and heavyweight champ Rocky Marciano in TJtah next summer. Jenson said he was more in favor of the light-heavy winner fighting Layne in Utah next summer with that winner to meet Marciano. • Layne presently is in training for his fight with Canadian heavyweight Earl Walls next month. . . i • ; • . . i » I 3
