RED, steadied close to the pace for about five furlongs, slipped through along the inside to assume command, skirted the inner brush and drew out under intermittent pressure. BRAVE BIM outran field to take the early lead, remained close up after giving way, responded through the late stages and closed willingly. SILVER GATE, ridden close to the hedge rounding the first turn, worked his way up on the inside, saved ground on he turns, but was not good enough. WHITE BRAND was forced to lose ground. DO-DO moved to engage the leaders on the far turn, remained in contention until straightend in the drive, swerved to the outside and was not persevered with. PIRATE JEAN had no mishap. FRED G. engaged for the command on the final turn and weakened. PEACE MISSION established the pace for a mile and flattened out. VINiTA ED passed tiring horses. SUPTELA and BEDA BULL stopped. The others were outrun Hatties Gift claimed by Paramount Stable. Attendance, 12,423; Total Mutuel Pool, 76,118.
