SUPER LUNAR was urged forwardly placed from a slow beginning, steadily wore down contention and, taking command on the stretch turn, drew away in handy fashion. WHIRLS BELL saved ground to open a clear early lead, held sway to the stretch and faltered. WAR BILL gradually improved position racing on the outside and finished well. F0XAL0NIA could not stay with the leaders early, but held on fairly well in the drive. MENAWA was a sharp factor for six furlongs and quit. FURRY FRIEND quit. MRS. MAC was not a threat.
