Round n Round Works Fast DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 16. — G and G Stables Round n Round and the J. C. Pollard and T. I. Harkins filly, Ever Bright, candidates for the Saturday running: of the S10,000 Rose Leaves Stakes were on the fast track here this morning for trials. Round n Round stepped five furlongs in :59%, handily, after passing the initial quarter mile marker in .ZZVs, and a half in :46i5. Ever Bright was not asked for high speed as she completed a four-furlong drill in :48, handily. Clockers and seasoned observers were high in their praise of Round n Round, a four-year-old Hoop, Jr.-sired filly, who is scheduled to make her 1953 racing debut in the six-furlong week end stake, which is exclusively for fillies and mares.
