HIGH LIVING Hard-hitting three-year-old colt is dangerous when sent over the middle distances against ,000-class rivals. POINT FORTUNE Whirlaway-sired gelding was never "better and worked a mile here last week in 1:43, handily. BIG HERALDER Cheap, but honest stallion, always turns in good race and seems due for a victory over ,000-grade, middle-distance platers. v MISSAB Mud moves the VanBerg mare up several lengths, and she is training impressively. HI GAIL Christensen two-year-old filly raced well in her only local start and appears to be ready for early visit to winners ring. SISTIME Displayed high speed in De-quindre Purse, but was trifle short and that race may be the tightener needed for a victory. WAR BELL Raced well last time out and should earn a purse when matched with ordinary-grade three-year-olds at a mile or over. RANDALL PARK RUSTIC BILLY Turned in a powerful stretch running exhibition on Wednesday and should come right back with another tally in his next outing for trainer Jimmy Stewart. CUB Turned in another excellent race here the other day and should get home first next time going six furlongs against ,000 platers. CHALLAGUERRE Looked impressive in his first race here and should win in the near future at six furlongs. FAITHS PRINCE Appears to have improved greatly here lately and may surprise in the near future in a sprint offering. INANABOUT Scored impressively here on Wednesday and figures to come right back the next time out. SEA WEATHER Was in a little too rough in his most recent effort and wound up unplaced for the first time at the meeting. Against easier pickings the Caruso-trained gelding should regain his winning edge. FIERY VAR Turned in a much-improved race that last time out and may win for trainer Haymaker before the week is out. NEDS POLLY Failed to last in her first outing under new ownership. START NOW Was unable, to overcome his" inside post position while finishing third in last. Has proven very game if not used up early. All he seems to need is a chance to get in a race at three-quarters. MENTAL GYMNAST Recently turned six furlongs in 1:17 while going handily,-which suggests that he is fit and ready. HYDID Had a world of speed in local debut only to tire in the final furlong. May stick it out in next outing. TRY IKE Way this -fellow took measure of ,250 company the other evening suggests that he can stand considerable up-ping in class and still continue winning ways. REBLUE Kings Blue More Refined filly that lost a heart breaker against fair two-year-olds in first outing here. Should not tarry long in ranks of non-winners. Has been carefully brought back to early season form after tailing off. HERES FAY Sent a nice mile in 1:45 the other morning, which suggests that connections have a route spot picked out. CENTENNIAL RACE TRACK LADY REVERE A five-year-old maiden that displayed a wealth of early foot in the first start of her career. It was his first outing over this course since arriving from Omaha and should serve as a conditioner for an improved performance, the next time. ORO ESCRITORO Not too much class, but held on gamely to run second to Gamaun the last time. Another race or two may make this Sports Writer gelding a bit more difficult to beat. INDIAN BLAZE A two-year-old who should leave the maiden ranks in the very near future. Took the overland route to reach the front in a sprint the last time while a strong favorite. Next outing should be the one. PLAYBORO Has been well regarded in each effort. Last was good and-the Bern-; borough colt should go well with some of the more consistent campaigners on the grounds. BITTER FOX A speedster with a touch of class. Has consistently been taking the top only to fold in the last stages. Recent : second to Mooseheart would indicate an improvement. t GO LUCKY Trainer Ted Bevan, Jr., has v this Full Stride gelding about as fit as hands can make him. Recent endeavor found him placed rather high, though, and when in the right spot will be difficult to beat. GARRYMARK Led a good band of allow- , ance campaigners for the better part of ; six furlongs in a mile race the last out- f ing. A veteran campaigner that handles most any type of race track effectively. : ILL BE Has been improving steadily and : his Fairmount Park past performances are excellent. Appears to prefer a sprint I when not placed too ambitiously. LINCOLN, NEB. DARKYS REWARD A fine looking colt, by Tarry Long, out of the good sprinter : Southern Darky, showed speed in his first outing, but was a little short for this " effort. He should be fit for his next out- ! ing and will show to good advantage : among maiden two-year-olds. BOBETTE Was bumped severely racing ! into the first turn in her last outing, j She is eligible for non-winners condi- tions, and prefers the shorter distances. JAHALA A three-year-old maiden who has been racing a bit over her head. : Should beat a field of her own age and -class. ; CLEAR HARMONY Was ,away slowly in j his initial start. He closed with good speed to finish fourth. He has the best of conditions. Should he be gainfully placed, he should lose his maiden mark in the near future. MERRI SIZZLE Handicap star of the area. Was fractious in the gate in his appearance in the Inaugural Handicap, breaking through the gate. He broke slowly and lacked racing room. He closed willingly under"high weight, and was only beaten three lengths. QUICK FLASH A well-bred filly, by Okapi, out of a Zacaweista mare. Won at first asking over this strip. Could repeat with a group of maidens and winners of one. MISS CAMPBELL Won two races at the local course last year. She finished second to the good mare Boswell Queen in her first out here this year. A slight drop in classification would give her a royal chance of reaching the charmed circle. VAIN ROY Turned in a good performance in his last trip to the post will be tough to contend with in the same company. - HAMILTON OHIO OKLAHOMA KID Trainer Pete Maxwell has freshened his charge since close at River Downs and the gelding looks like a million since the refreshing. Will be tough to handle at routes here. IN LOVE Speedy. sort that has taken a liking to the sharp Hamilton turns. Stepped snappy three-eighths recently to show that she has all her speed. ANTUSS This fellow has golden opportunity to leave maiden ranks against the competition here. Should not be long in earning brackets. FROSTY ACRES Superior mud runner who will benefit from soft track at first outing. Is in tip-top trim now. SUDDEN NEWS Appears to have lost little of condition that marked him as.a-winner at River Downs. Will bear watching. PILOT MAN Though faint-hearted this veteran will find that his speed stands him well in sprints here. Five furlongs will just catch him., "FLOODS CHARM Schavel racer was kept on trim with recent five furlongs in 1:09. Was just breezing in move and is ready now. ELBOW ROOM Though aged considerably the Appealing Francine C. gelding has the old class to get his share of purses here. Has been freshened since racing at Cumberland. , ST. GEORGE Initial outing for this fellow may have been a trifle short. Is a long winded router that should find longer spot to his liking. WRONG BID Finally took a purse in his last start after knocking at door all season. Has been tough luck racer that might keep streak intact here.
