Sell 18-Horses-in-T raining For 0,900 at Saratoga SARATOGA, Saratoga Springs, N. Y., Aug. 15. The sale of horses-in-training held by the Fasig-Tipton Company in their local pavilion this morning -saw 18 head sold for 0,900, for an average of ,272. There was very little interest evidenced throughout the vendue and many of the horses catalogued to be sold were withdrawn. High price realized was the ,000 paid by the High Tide Stable for the three-year-old filly, Lot O Honey, consigned by F. Eugene Dixon, Jr. Second high was also sold by Dixon. This was the two-year-old filly, Mossy Number, for whom Walter A. Kelley, acting as agent, paid ,000. The summary follows : Horse. Buyer. Price. Gamboge, W. B.
