Arcaro, Guerin Will Seek Additions to Collections Each Has Won Four Trophies for Riding Aqueduct Stake Winners AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 7.— Eddie Arcaro and Eric Guerin, who have won four trophies each at Aqueduct since the Queens County Jockey Club instituted the practice of awarding prizes to trainers and riders of Dwyer Stakes, the Carter, Brooklyn and Beldame handicap winners, will seek additions to their respctive collections at the meeting opening Monday. Cyrus S. Jullien, president of Aqueduct, began the practice in 1951 to give trainers and jockeys a memento for winning the Dwyer, Brooklyn and Beldame, the tliree classic events at the Queens County course In 1953, he added the Carter Handicap to the list when thnt event was increased to 0,000. making it the richest sprint in the world for older horses under a mile. Arcaros trophy prospects are bright, for he is slated to ride Nashua in the Dwyer and High Gun in the Brooklyn. Arcaros victories in tlic "Run for the Silver" were aboard Battlefield in the 1951 Dwyer. High Gun in the 1951 Dwyer, In-vlgorator In the 1954 Brooklny, and on Real Delight in the sefcpnd division of the 1952 Beldame. Guerin s scored with Native Danced In the 1953 Dwyer. Crafty Admiral in the 1952 Brooklyn, Next Movo in the first division of the 195a Beldame, and Parlo in the 195-1 Beldame. John Gaver saddled Tom Fool for hts Carter and Brooklyn victories in 1953 to win two pieces of silver, while Bill Winfrey scored with Native Dancer In the 1953 Dwyer and with Next Move In the 195U Beldame first division. Ted Atkinson won two trophies with Tom Fool
